Assignment 08 - Photo / lighting mimic.
I found this vintage picture on intsagram, by John Rawlings.
( I should have looked him up earlier... this guy is great. )
I figured out that he may had 2 light sources. A soft box as the key light and a secondary light source off to the side, possibly parallel to the key light.
I Had the backdrop and the model about 5 - 6 ft away from each other, centered.
The key-light was in-front and overhead of the model, set at F16
and the back light was 4 - 5 ft to the backdrop, set at F11.
Looking at the final photo to the original, I realized that
my key-light was in the wrong position
It should have been angled to my left.
( there is more of a shadow across the top of her hand. )
Overall I'm pretty happy about how the image turned out.
and the rest of the images I could claim as my own.
